Mike Rayfield is a licensed Private Investigator, Security Consultant and Trainer providing services to Law Firms, Corporations, General Counsels, individuals and law enforcement agencies. Mike has conducted investigations including employment law both on the plaintiff and defense side, missing persons, mysterious death, elder abuse, civil rights, backgrounds (pre-employment and risk assessment), internet harassment, stalkers, family law/custody, human trafficking, cold case homicide/missing persons and workers compensation.

Mike utilizes skills honed during 25 years of investigative and tactical experience as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Mike began his FBI career with the San Antonio, Texas Division of the FBI where he investigated drug trafficking organizations, was assigned to a DEA task force and a member of the FBI SWAT team. He followed this with five years as a member of the FBI’s elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) based in Quantico, Virginia. Mike completed his career with the Sacramento office of the FBI where he worked numerous high profile criminal investigations and eventually supervised the multi-agency Gang, Violent Crime, and Child Exploitation Task Forces.  Along with 25 years of investigative and tactical experience, Mike is also a certified hostage negotiator. His FBI career, and breadth of experience, has afforded him the opportunity to conduct investigations, operate, train and instruct in many foreign countries to include Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Malta, Georgia, Hungary and Israel to name a few.


Prior to his law enforcement career, Mike worked for a large corporation and served for five years with United States Marine Corps.
